Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 13 – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet urged all relevant ministries and institutions within the inter-ministerial inspection team to hold only one-time joint inspection of factory-enterprise per year.

The premier spoke at the 19th Government-Private Sector Forum (G-PSF), held on Monday (Nov. 13) at the Peace Palace.

"All ministries and institutions must hold only one-time joint inspection annually with the same purpose unless there is a complaint from the workers or if any incident occurs. Please adhere to the principles to hold only one-time inspection per year," the premier underscored.

Samdech Thipadei urged the private sector to serve as a mechanism to boost compliance, instilling confidence and minimizing the necessity for inspections from relevant ministries and institutions.
