Phnom Penh (FN), Nov. 12 – The exhibition “In the Shadow of Angkor Towers. The Art of Cambodia” is hosted by the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow from 3 November 2023 to 14 January 2024.

Organized for the first time in 20 years, the exhibition of the art of the Kingdom is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of its independence.

For the first time, fine examples of decorative and applied art, including silver ceremonial vessels, religious sculptures, lacquer trays, encrusted boxes, weaved temple curtains with religious scenes, metal caskets and manuscripts on palm leaves are well displayed for the public.
