Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 31 – World Bank's practice manager for environment, natural resources, and the blue economy Mona Sur pledged to cooperate with the Ministry of Environment on the ministry's priority task to reduce the use of plastic bags and plastic pollution on the health of Cambodian citizens in line with the Environmental Chakra Strategy 2023-2028.

Mona Sur had a working meeting with Cambodian environment minister Eang Sophalleth on 30 October 2023 at the Ministry of Environment.

The environment minister thanked the World Bank and its colleagues for their contributions to building a cleaner and greener Cambodia.
