Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 28 – Cambodian prime minister stated that although Cambodia has different development from the West, the Cambodian Government will forever strive to maintain the living standards of the people.

The premier spoke on Saturday morning (Oct. 28) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet underlined that, "no matter the economic situation, the benefits that we continuously consider for the people must continue to provide and protect.”

At the same time, the premier also called on all people to take care of what the Royal Government has been trying to build in the past, especially to maintain peace, political stability, development and good investment to make Cambodia further grow to be able to create jobs and generate income for the people.

Samdech Thipadei added that for the development of the country is not achieved in just a day or an instant, but the Royal Government under the leadership of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) has put in place a number of policies to make Cambodia to become a developed country.

In addition, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet stated that developed countries are countries with a high GDP per capita. Therefore, the Royal Government has made every effort to promote the income of all kinds of people to increase continuously.

Samdech Thipadei stated that the Royal Government has worked tirelessly to enable Cambodia to achieve the 2030 plan as a high-middle-income country and a high-income country by 2050.
