Guangxi Guilin Zhishen Information Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhishen) was established in 2015, headquartered in Guilin, with branches and subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, the United States, and so on. Zhishen is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, sales, and service of tripod head stabilizers and their accessories for cameras and mobile phones. Its products have won awards such as the "iF Design Award", "Red Dot Award", and "Excellent Design Award".
In the exhibition hall of Zhishen products, there are various types of dazzling tripod head stabilizers and LED photography lights. Li Ming stated that in recent years, the sales of tripod head stabilizer products in the ASEAN market have shown an increasing trend year by year. "Foreign customers think that our product design is very good." he said.
Zhishen currently has over 650 patent applications in total, over 500 authorizations, over 40 overseas patents, and over 580 global trademarks. The departments of research and development, sales, marketing, and supply chain are all located in the Pearl River Delta region where materials are purchased. And then such materials are transported to Guilin for assembly, processing, packaging, and distribution to various regions.
"Zhishen, headquartered in Guilin, hopes to leverage its leading position in the industry to drive and contribute to the economic development of our hometown, Guilin." said Li Ming. Currently our largest mechanical factory in Guilin can only produce about 40 million sets of products per year, and production is not keeping pace with demand. Therefore, this year, Zhishen wants to establish an industry chain integrating mechanical processing and injection molding in Guilin to expand production scale. "We are currently promoting small-volume, high-power and portable LED photography lamps. It is expected that the sales revenue of photography lamps will exceed RMB 100 million yuan this year."
In recent years, Guilin has deeply implemented the industrial revitalization strategy, strengthened the innovative development of hi-tech enterprises, given an impetus to the deep integration of industrial and innovation chains, and promoted the transformation of hi-tech manufacturing industry from quantity accumulation to qualitative change.
"In the first half of this year, the added value of hi-tech manufacturing in Guilin increased by 16.1 per cent year-on-year, which is 10 percentage points higher than that of the industry above designated size in the city". According to the relevant leader of Guilin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, at present, Guilin comprehensively sorts out high-quality enterprises in hi-tech industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing, spacecraft and equipment manufacturing, electronic and communication equipment manufacturing, computer and office equipment manufacturing, and provides guidance on cultivation, in accordance with the principle of "Reserving a Batch, Cultivating a Batch, and Improving a Batch". Besides, Guilin accelerates the development of enterprises with high development potential, good market prospects, and many growth opportunities, and provides targeted assistance to small and micro enterprises (SMEs) that meet the conditions in the cultivation database of enterprises near designated size to enhance their development, helping such enterprises develop into the enterprises above designated size as soon as possible.
It is reported that as of now, there are 89 hi-tech manufacturers above designated size in Guilin, accounting for 13.3 per cent of the total number of industrial enterprises above designated size.
There have been a total of 24 "little giants" (specialized, high-end and innovation-driven SMEs), ranking second in Guangxi.
