Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 25 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) said that the spirit of the Cooperation and Alliance Agreement between the CPP and 27 other political parties is open to other legitimate political parties that support and wish to join the alliance.

Samdech Techo spoke during the signing ceremony of the alliance agreement between the CPP and 27 other political parties on Wednesday (Oct. 25) at the CPP's headquarters.

"In this case, the decision making for the approval will not involve the CPP alone, but all 28 political parties. We need to decide on a consensus, 50+1 or two-thirds majority in order to approve new member parties," Samdech Techo underscored.

After signing this agreement, Samdech Techo advised preparing another internal regulation, including meetings, meeting locations and meeting times. The CPP will send the chairman of the party's organizing committee to prepare and draft the rules and regulations, and ask each party to send a representative to participate in the preparation.
