Kampong Cham (FN), Oct. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet stated that for more than 44 years, saving lives has been the main priority of the Royal Government of Cambodia, led by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP).

The premier spoke on Wednesday (Oct. 25) during his meeting with more than 12,000 workers in Kampong Cham province.

Samdech Thipadei added that in the past, CPP-led Government had helped liberate the country from the Pol Pot genocidal regime, which had saved the lives of millions of people and ended the civil war in 1998 through win-win policy.

Meanwhile, when the world and Cambodia are affected by the COVID19 pandemic, the Royal Government has taken care of its people by trying to find vaccines to fight against the pandemic.

At the same time, regarding the recent war in Israel, the Royal Government has paid close attention and constantly monitored the safety and well-being of Cambodians who are studying and working in Israel.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei also underscored that Cambodia is not only committed to maintaining peace in its own country, but the Cambodian Government, as a member of the United Nations and ASEAN, will participate in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
