Kampong Cham (FN), Oct. 25 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet said there can be no happiness for any country that falls into war and that its people cannot live in peace.

The premier spoke on Wednesday morning (Oct. 25) during his meeting with more than 12,000 workers in Kampong Cham province.

“No matter how rich your country is, there can be no happiness without peace,” the premier underlined.

On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei added that many country leaders congratulated him on forming the new Royal Government in a stable and peaceful manner. They recognized the value of democracy based on the rule of law and the well-being of the people.
