Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 9 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, chairman of the Supreme Council of the King and president of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), requested that there will be no more series production of his biography that includes author’s opinions.
Samdech Techo spoke during the closing of the "The Son Under the Full Moon" TV Series, held on Monday (Oct. 9) at the OCIC, Phnom Penh.
"I am excited with the achievements, although it does not adequately reflect the reality. However, I would like to request that there should be no more production of the series on his biography. This is my insistent request. You can use this series as a basis to reflect my life journey as I am afraid that once the writer's opinions are included, the historical film becomes a fiction," the premier underscored.
It should be noted that the "The Son Under the Full Moon" TV Series reflected the struggles and life journey of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and his spouse Bun Rany Hun Sen for the cause of the nation. The TV series has 99 episodes with a production cost of approximately USD 6 million.
