Phnom Penh (FN), Oct. 9 – Cambodian king Norodom Sihamoni sent a royal letter of condolences to the parents of Chan Oudom, a Cambodian student who died in the Israel-Hamas clashes.

"I am deeply saddened to learn of the sad news that Chan Udom, your son and a student at the Royal University of Agriculture, has passed away at the age of 24, due to the clashes between the Israeli and the Hamas forces on 7 October 2023, during his stay and study in Israel.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and the family for the death of Chan Udom, the loss of the human resources of an agricultural student,” according to the royal letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Oct. 9).
