New York (FN), Sep. 23 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet said that education system in the 7th mandate Royal Government will not only focus on providing knowledges, but also shaping students' morality, virtues and behaviors.

The system aims to apply to students from kindergarten to grade 12 in the Cambodian education system, the premier spoke during his meeting with Cambodians living in the US and Canada on 23 September 2023.

"Morality is very important for our human resources. Virtues, morals, and mindset of our youth must be cultivated from an early age. Therefore, I asked the Ministry of Education to organize community service programs to encourage youth to volunteer to help the community and each other," the premier underscored.

"It is more important than ever to instill positive values in our children from a young age," the premier added.
