Takeo (FN), Sep. 19 - Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet underlined that when he met with world leaders, including China, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and other countries, he always reaffirmed Cambodia's political position with those countries and its commitment to enhance and expand cooperation.
The premier spoke on Tuesday (Sep. 19) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Bati district, Takeo province. His remarks came after a series of questions about his foreign policy with other countries.
"The current and future Royal Government must continue to pursue policies in national interest. This is the policy of the Cambodian People's Party,” the premier underlined.
Samdech Thipadei continued, “not only with China, I also informed Japanese prime minister of this policy. I told Japanese prime minister that our policy with Japan does not change and we will continue to maintain what has been built and continue to expand,” the premier
Samdech Thipadei affirmed that the Royal Government of Cambodia’s political stance, led by the Cambodian People's Party, is for the interest of the nation and the people.
