Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 18 – President of Asian Vision Institute (AVI) Chheang Vannarith contributed an article on the ASEAN Green Deal.

“The ASEAN Green Deal has emerged as a transformative initiative in Southeast Asia to address the region’s economic, social, and environmental challenges. The ASEAN Green Deal is a game changer. It presents an opportunity for Southeast Asia to expedite its transition to a low-carbon economy, leveraging the benefits of regional cooperation. Strategic interventions encompass developing green energy systems, green infrastructure and logistics, green finance, green innovation, and the transition to a circular economy. By embracing this comprehensive approach, ASEAN can foster sustainable growth, resource efficiency, and a resilient economy while contributing to global climate goals,” Chheang Vannarith underlined.
