Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 18 – Cambodian prime minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet encouraged further cooperation between Cambodia and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the areas of trade, investment, modern agriculture, agro-industry and the digital economy.
The premier spoke during a courtesy call by Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region chairman Lan Tianli and the delegation on 17 September 2023 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
On the occasion, Samdech Thipadei thanked Guangxi chairman and agreed with the promotion of the cooperation between the two sides. He also encouraged forging closer relations and cooperation, especially in trade, investment, modern agriculture, agro-industry and the digital economy.
At the same time, Samdech Thipadei also requested Lan Tianli to examine the possibility of accelerating the completion of the existing cooperation with fruitful results and strive to seek more new cooperation.
Premier Hun Manet thanked the administration of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the city and the people of Nanning for their warm hospitality.
On behalf of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Lan Tianli praised the official visit and participation of Samdech Thipadei and the delegation, which underscored Cambodia's strong interest and support for China.
The chairman also informed the premier about the purpose of his visit to Cambodia in April 2023, to review the progress, prosperity and progress of Cambodia, as well as to personally invite Samdech Techo, president of the Supreme Privy Council, to visit Nanning and other areas of the autonomous region.
At the same time, the chairman fully agreed with the vision raised by premier Hun Manet at the opening of the 20th China-ASEAN Expo.
The chairman informed the premier that he and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Administration will continue to cooperate and work with all relevant parties to achieve fruitful results.
Chairman Lan Tianli thanked Samdech Thipadei for allowing him and his delegation to pay a courtesy call and discuss work. The chairman also extended his best wishes to Samdech Techo.
