Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 17 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the president of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) expressed his concern about his son (Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet)'s well-being.

Samdech Techo wrote on his social media accounts on Sunday (Sep. 17).

"Father's heart !

Before my father passed, he was always waiting for me when I had mission abroad. Sometimes he did not rest until I got home; only then did he stop worrying. Even though he knew I was a powerful leader of the state, he was still worried about our well-being as children. The same thing happened to me now. Though I know my son is holding top power and has any means of transportation, yet I am still concerned about my son’s safety.

I love children and grandchildren alike. I am always worried every time they travel abroad."

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet led a high-level delegation on an official visit to China from 14-16 September 2023, at the invitation of Chinese premier Li Qiang.

Following the official visit, Samdech Thipadei also participated in the 20th ASEAN-China Expo on 16-17 September 2023 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
