Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 17 – Samdech Techo Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People's Party, congratulated on the inscription of Cambodia’s Koh Ker on UNESCO World Heritage List.
Samdech Techo wrote on his social media accounts on Sunday (Sep. 17).
“I would like to express my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of Cambodia's Koh Ker Temple Region listed as UNESCO’s World Heritage at the 45th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 12:28 pm (Riyadh time) which is 1:28 pm in Phnom Penh on 17 September 2023,”
“I would like to thank the Royal Government, all relevant ministries and institutions for supporting this work to achieve great results for the motherland.
Koh Ker temple resort was the former capital of Cambodia during the reign of King Jayavarman IV during the 10th century AD in 928 until 941 AD.”
