Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 17 – The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) granted licenses to six new investment projects with a total investment of more than USD 30 million, according to CDC’s Facebook on 16 September 2023.
The six projects are as follow:
1. TX FOOD (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a project to establish a noodle factory located in Taing Sreng village, Sangke Satop commune, Aoral district, Kampong Speu province, has an investment capital of approximately USD 7 million and can generate 120 jobs.
2. CORP TRIM (CAMBODIA) INDUSTRY CO., LTD., a project to establish a factory to produce cardboard boxes and price tags from paper, located on Street 122, Trakiet Village, Trapeang Sap Commune, Bati District, Takeo Province, has an investment capital of approximately USD 6.3 million and can generate 180 jobs.
3. POWER CROWN FOOTWEAR (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a project to establish a shoes and footwear factory located in Tuol Sam Village, Sangkat Kampoul, Khan Kampoul, Phnom Penh, has an investment capital of approximately USD 5.6 million and can generate 4,040 jobs.
4. YOUNG ME APPAREL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a project to establish a garment factory located in Toul Pong Village, Sangkat Choam Chao I, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh, has a investment capital of approximately USD 5.4 million and can generate 1,358 job opportunities.
5. JIASHUN R PACKAGING MATERIAL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD., a project to establish a cardboard factory located in Chak Kambet village, Vallisor commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province, has an investment capital of approximately USD 5.2 million and can generate 300 jobs.
6. NEWSIGHT GARMENT CO., LTD., a project to establish a garment factory located in Damnak Thom 3 Village, Sangkat Stung Meanchey III, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, has an investment capital of approximately USD 5.1 million and can generate 1,586 job opportunities.
