Beijing (FN), Sep. 15 – Chinese president Xi Jinping conveyed heartfelt regards to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and asked Samdech Techo to visit China frequently.

Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet paid a courtesy call and discussed works with Chinese president Xi Jinping on Friday (Sep. 15) at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

“Your father, Samdech Hun Sen, has historically contributed to the cause of Sino-Cambodian friendship. I would like to convey a heartfelt greeting to him and welcome him to visit China frequently," Xi underscored.

Taking this occasion, the Chinese president also recalled the meeting with Samdech Techo Hun Sen in early February. Both sides jointly opened a new era of building a high-quality, high-level, high-standard China-Cambodia Community with a Shared Future. In September 2023, Samdech Thipadei visited China.

The Chinese president is confident that Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet is the harvester of the relationship born of Samdech Techo's efforts, and Manet will further deepen the building of the Sino-Cambodian Community with a Shared Future.
