Phnom Penh (FN), Sep. 14 – Cambodian acting head of state Say Chhum received a courtesy call by the newly appointed ambassador of Ukraine to Cambodia Gaman Oleksandr on 13 September 2023 at the Senate.

Say Chhum congratulated Gaman Oleksandr for his recent appointment as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Cambodia.

On that occasion, Gaman Oleksandr thanked Samdech Say Chhum for his time. The ambassador conveyed a heartfelt greeting from the president of Ukraine to Cambodian king Norodom Sihamoni and top leaders.

The ambassador expressed satisfaction and appreciation for the excellent relations and cooperation between the two countries. Through his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, he will strive to contribute to further strengthening the friendly relations and good cooperation between the two governments, the two peoples and the two countries.

Samdech Say Chhum noted with pleasure the good relations and cooperation between the two countries. He is confident that ambassador Oleksandr will continue to work to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation in all fields between the two countries and the two peoples.

In addition, Samdech also underlined that the Senate, National Assembly, Royal Government, Ministries and National Institutions of Cambodia are always ready to work closely with the ambassador to promote friendly relations and cooperation, which will bring great benefits for both countries.

Through the ambassador, Samdech sent greetings to the Ukrainian president and top leaders.
