Kandal (FN), Sep. 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet advised Phnom Penh governor Khuong Sreng to prepare free vehicles to transport the workers to their homeland to celebrate the upcoming Pchum Ben Festival, speaking on Friday morning (Sep. 1) during a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Takhmau city, Kandal province.

"Currently, we build roads and bridges to link all the connections. Khuong Sreng, please prepare free vehicles to transport the workers to their homeland to celebrate the upcoming Pchum Ben Festival," Manet underscored.

Taking this occasion, Manet added that "to address the needs of our citizens, we must spend the budget and never think twice in doing so. This is a continued implementation of the policy from Samdech Hun Sen."
