Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 29 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet conveyed Samdech Hun Sen’s regards to workers and highlighted Samdech’s heroism and merits in leading Cambodia towards peace and prosperity.

The premier spoke during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh's Por Senchey district on Tuesday morning (Aug. 29).

Manet stated, "I would like to convey regards from Samdech Techo Hun Sen, who has built the country from scratch and led the country for more than three decades with peace, stability and development.”

Being employed with a decent salary and social protection to assist you and your family is the result of the work led by Samdech Techo and the leaders of the previous government, Manet added.

Manet also expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership of Samdech and also thanked the Ministry of Labor for their cooperation.

At the same time, Manet underlined that the Royal Government of the 7th legislative mandate will continue to maintain and further expand the achievements that the leaders of the previous Royal Government have built for the past 40 years.
