Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 28 – President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen sent a congratulatory letter to Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet on his recent appointment. 

"Our relations are underpinned by our mutual commitment to multilateralism and regional cooperation, sustainable growth, inclusive development and our strong people-to-people tie. Our bilateral cooperation continues to expand to new areas, creating opportunities for our businesses and peoples. In this regard. I look forward to working together with you and your administration to achieve the full potential of trade, investment and growth for both the European Union and Cambodia," according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Aug. 28).
