Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 24 – Laotian prime minister Sonexay Siphandone sent a congratulatory letter to Cambodian prime minister Hun Manet on his recent appointment, according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Aug. 24).

“I would like to highly appreciate and be confident that under your genuine knowledge and experiences, you will lead the Kingdom of Cambodia to achieve steady progress.

I would like to express my readiness to cooperate with His Excellency to participate in strengthening and expanding friendly relations, and have a long history of good neighborliness between our two countries to achieve continuous growth in every sector.

Our two countries, Laos and Cambodia, have a long history of good relations. The leaders of the two countries have exchanged regular visits, which is an important contribution to boosting cooperation in various fields aiming to promote a long-term strategic partnership in all fields to achieve fruitful results in both bilateral and multilateral frameworks for the benefit of the two peoples, as well as for peace, stability, and cooperation for both regional and international development.”
