Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 22 – Former Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen expressed his confidence in the new cabinet of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly, while the remaining tasks from the previous mandate cabinet will be carried on by the successors.

Samdech Hun Sen spoke in a press conference on Tuesday (Aug. 22) at the National Assembly.

"I believed they have the capability to fulfill the remaining tasks and it will be a burden for them," Samdech underscored.

On that occasion, Samdech also believed that the new cabinet of the 7th legislature is agile to achieve a goal of transforming Cambodia into a higher-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
