Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 9 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, also the president of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) thanked president of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, also general secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, for congratulating the CPP on the recent election victory.

“I share your view that we need to continue deepening the ties of our traditional friendship and cooperation both at the level between the CPP and the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party and at the level of our governments for the mutual political stability and prosperity of our two nations,” according to the letter seen by Fresh News on Wednesday (Aug 9).
