Phnom Penh (FN), Aug. 7 – Hun Manet expressed his gratitude to Cambodian king Norodom Sihamoni for appointing him as the prime minister for the Royal Government in the 7th mandate, according to Manet's letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Aug. 7).

Manet showed determination to serve the nation and the people of Cambodia.

“I am committed to fulfilling this noble national mission with heroism, integrity and high responsibility to serve the nation, the motherland and the people of Cambodia, especially to continue to ensure the defense of national independence, national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the absolute defense of the throne and the constitutional monarchy in Cambodia, continue to ensure the absolute security of peace and social stability, continue to promote the development of the country, and continue to improve the lives of the people of Cambodia, as well as to enhance national prestige on the international stage.”
