Kandal (FN), Aug. 3 – Chinese ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian congratulated the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) on the recent election victory and believed that the new government under the leadership of Hun Manet will achieve many outcomes.

The Chinese ambassador spoke on Thursday morning (Aug. 3) at an inauguration ceremony of Ring Road No.3.

"This general election is fair. The Cambodian citizens have exercised their right to vote freely. As an iron-clad friend, China warmly congratulated Cambodia on successfully holding the 7th National Assembly Election and congratulated the CPP on its landslides victory," the ambassador underscored.

Ambassador Wang believed that under the leadership of the CPP, with Samdech Techo as the party’s president and Hun Manet as the new prime minister, Cambodia will achieve many outcomes. In the future, the lives of the citizens will move towards happiness, prosperity, and greater confidence.
