Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), thanked Chinese premier Li Qiang for his warm congratulations on the victory of the CPP in the 7th mandate general election.

“I am extremely delighted to witness that the long-standing relations and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation between Cambodia and China have continued to flourish and evolved into an ironclad friendship. Your Excellency may rest assured that in the new mandated government, Cambodia's policy toward China remains unchanged, based on the spirit of traditional friendship, mutual trust and win-win cooperation,” according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Jul 27).
