Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 26 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen thanked the Vietnamese prime minister, Laos prime minister, and Chinese president and Chinese prime minister for congratulating Samdech and the CPP on election victory.

The premier tweeted on Wednesday (Jul 26).

"I would like to thank his excellency prime minister of Viet Nam for calling to wish me in the morning of 24 July 2023. At the same time, I would like to thank his excellency prime minister of Laos for sending me a message through telegram to congratulate me in the evening of 24 July 2023.

Although the official results have not yet announced, the calling and wishing informally are a gesture of friendship after Cambodia hosted election well with the success of the Cambodian People’s Party.

I would also like to thank his excellency the president and his excellency prime minister of the People's Republic of China for sending congratulatory letters to me and the CPP for the success on the election".
