Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 25 – Chinese prime minister Li Qiang sent congratulations letter to Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), and the CPP Central Committee on their victory in the 7th Mandate National Assembly election, which took place on 23 July 2023.

"I wish to extend warm congratulations on Cambodian People's Party's victory once again in the election of Members of National Assembly for the 7th Mandate of the Legislature led by Samdech prime minister," according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jul 25).

"Under the leadership of prime minister, Cambodia has achieved political stability, economic development, rising living standards and growing regional stature".
