Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 16 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said the election campaign in 2023 is active and joyful and called on citizens to go to vote.

The premier tweeted on Sunday (Jul 16).

"It has been 16 days since the start of the election campaign, and all the participating political parties have been campaigning actively and happily as if the campaign is a joyful festival," according to the premier's tweeted on Sunday (Jul 16).

"In line with the king's appeal and that of the National Election Committee, I, on behalf of Cambodian prime minister, would like to take this opportunity to call on all citizens, who have registered to vote, to go to the polls on Sunday, 23 July 2023," the premier continued.

The 7th Mandate National Election will be held on 23 July 2023, from 7 am to 3 pm, with the participation of 18 political parties.
