Phnom Penh (FN), Jul. 6 – For the first six months of 2023, Cambodia earned more than USD 16 million from Angkor ticket sales, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Thursday (Jul 6).
In the January-June period, the Archaeological Park received a total of 385,769 foreign tourists. For June itself, Angkor Enterprises earned USD 1,811,589 from the sale of 41,012 tickets to foreign tourists.
In the first six months of 2023, the Royal Government donated USD 771,538 to Kantha Bopha Hospital of Cambodia from the sales of tickets to foreign tourists to help save the lives of Cambodian children, the press release added.
