Pursat (FN), Jun. 30 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced that he will not interfere with the works of the new prime minister.

The premier spoke on Friday morning (Jun 30) during his meeting with nearly 7,000 workers in Pursat province.

"I have already prepared in advance. If you [newly appointed prime minister] do not ask, I will not tell. In case you ask, I ask for your idea on how do you want to solve that? By doing this, he [the new prime minister] will know how to solve the problem. Based on my experience, I want him to be self-determined," the premier underscored.

In addition, Samdech said that when he is no longer the prime minister, he is still in charge of the country's political affairs as the president of the Cambodian People's Party.
