Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen called on all people living in Cambodian eastern provinces such as Mondulkiri, Ratanakiri and Kratie not to be disturbed by the mobilisation of armed forces to defend Cambodian territory.

The premier spoke in a voice message obtained by Fresh News on Tuesday (Jun 27).

We need to defend our national sovereignty and prevent any attempts to carry out acts of terror on Cambodian soil, the premier underscored.

Samdech also issued additional orders for Cambodian military region 1 to cooperate with all forces to search for those terrorists hiding in Cambodian territory.

In the voice message, premier Hun Sen also asked the people to cooperate with the armed forces to provide information related to terrorism. He claimed that Cambodian weapons are capable enough to shoot down these drones.

"Respect our sovereignty. We want nothing but peace, independence and sovereignty,” the premier added.
