Kampong Speu (FN), Jun. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced he will continue to meet with workers 10 more times after July’s national election, speaking on Tuesday morning (Jun 27) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Kampong Speu.
Premier Hun Sen stated, "after the national election, which will be held on 23 July 2023, I will visit 10 other places from 27 June 2023 onwards."
The meeting with workers aimed at studying and setting out the Royal Government’s policies, which are beneficial for the people, the premier added.
On that occasion, Samdech underlined that the meeting is part of monitoring the progress, implementing the recommendations that the Royal Government has already set out, and discovering new solutions in order to effectively tackle challenges.
The 7th Mandate National Election will be held on 23 July 2023, with the participation of 18 political parties, of which the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) is No. 18 on the ballot paper.
