Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 20 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said he is super calm when it comes to making decisions on political affairs and the fate of the nation.
The premier spoke during a celebration of the 46th anniversary of Marching Toward National Salvation, held on Tuesday morning (Jun 20) at the Ministry of National Defense.
"I am super calm when it comes to political decisions. As you can see, have you ever made a political decision regarding the national interest in an aggressive manner? The answer is no. No one can be as patient as Hun Sen," the premier underscored.
If Samdech made a rush decision and began shooting because of the pain of the loss of his child, the national salvation could not be achieved and the journey towards the national liberation could not be successful either. At that time, the premier could have been imprisoned or shot dead.
According to premier Hun Sen, being patient in political affairs allowed him to work with a bunch of politicians since the age of 27. At that time, he was mocked for being too young to involve in this matter. However, Samdech did not care and continued to strive for the cause of the nation.
