Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 19 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen announced to continue to meet with the workers after the 7th Mandate National Election, speaking on Monday morning (Jun 19) at an inauguration of the Bakheng Water Treatment Plant in Phnom Penh.

"After the [general] election, I will visit ten more places. I already set in my itinerary. The general election will be held on 23 July 2023. Therefore, on 27 July, I will continue to meet with the workers," the premier underscored.

Samdech mentioned that the meeting with the garment workers aimed at reviewing the achievements of the first round of the meetings, finding solutions to their issues, and working on the implementation of the social protection stipends for pregnant women and their children until the age of two, which will come into force on 1 August 2023.
