Kampong Speu (FN), Jun. 17 – Cambodian prime minisiter Hun Sen warned of legal action against those who intended to ruin the ballot paper, speaking on Saturday (June 17) during his meeting with more than 18,000 workers in Kampong Speu province.

The warning came after the opposition is launching a campaign to cross the ballot paper [making it invalid].

At the same time, Samdech continued to call on workers to go to vote on 23 July 2023.

On 16 June 2023, premier Hun Sen announced that the draft law on the amendment to the election law has been sent to the National Assembly and the intention of the amendment is to prevent any disruption or damages to the elections.
