Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 12 – On Saturday 3 June 2023, the Mekong Centre for Strategic Studies (MCSS) of the Asian Vision Institute (AVI) officially launched the Mekong-Lancang Peace Boat Cruising Training Programme. The event was presided over by Sok Siphana, senior advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia, chairman of the Board of Directors of AVI and chairman of the National Secretariat of Cambodia (NSC) for Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC); Sok Soken, secretary of state of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, vice chairman of the National Secretariat of Cambodia (NSC) for Mekong-Lancang Cooperation, and head of Project Management and Implementation Unit for the MLC; and Chang Jian, deputy chief of Mission of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
