Phnom Penh (FN), Jun. 7 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen asked the Vietnamese government to extradite convict Sam Rainsy if he enters Viet Nam.

The announcement came after Samdech received information about Rainsy's plans to enter Vietnam as a French tourist.

The premier spoke on Wednesday (June 7) at the groundbreaking ceremony for Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway.

"He [Rainsy] planned to enter Malaysia, but he failed. He also planned to enter Thailand and Viet Nam by disguising himself as a tourist using a French passport, so if he dares to enter Viet Nam, I would like to ask Viet Nam to extradite him to Cambodia,” the premier underlined.
