Phnom Penh (FN), May 31 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen stated that the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the Royal Government do not have any special contacts with the National Election Committee (NEC) or the Constitutional Council of Cambodia (CCC).
The premier spoke at an inauguration of a bridge across the Tonle Sap and Russey Keo flyover, held on Wednesday morning (May 31) at OCIC, Phnom Penh.
"I would like to confirm that Cambodia has laws. The CPP is one of the competitors [in the general election], who has no contact with or interferences with the decision of the NEC or the CCC," the premier underscored.
Taking this occasion, Samdech warned to arrest all ill-intended people who wanted to cause chaos and instability at both the national and sub-national levels.
