Phnom Penh (FN), May 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen further called on workers to maintain peace at all costs, so that it opens doors of opportunity for national development.
The premier spoke on Saturday morning (May 27) during his meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in the Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.
"I would like to call on everyone to maintain peace at all costs. In fact, we have a presence here because of peace, not war. War destroyed everything. Fortunately, we have reconstruction. Peace brings development," the premier underscored.
Only those who fought for peace are capable of maintaining peace. Those who did not are only trying to bring instability to the country, regardless of who dies or who lives, the premier underlined.
At the same time, Samdech reminded the workers that without peace, there is no investment.
