Phnom Penh (FN), May 24 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said he does not believe in cultural aggression, but he is concerned about the willingness to accept foreign cultures of the people, which leads to the loss of national culture.

The premier spoke on Wednesday morning (May 24) at an inauguration ceremony of a new location of the Royal University of Fine Arts.

"I urge caution, especially in the construction of Buddha statues and other statues. If we do not follow the original forms and measures, it will not be recognized in the future. We inherited the original forms from our ancestors. Therefore, we must clearly identify and categorize the forms according to each era," the premier underscored.

On that occasion, Samdech added that he does not believe in the cultural change of one nation due to cultural aggression made by other nations, but what is worrying is the willingness to accept foreign cultures of the natives.
