Phnom Penh (FN), May 22 – Cambodian foreign minister Prak Sokhonn and Japanese ambassador to Cambodia Ueno Atsushi, will sign on 24 May 2023 at the Ministry Exchange of Notes and the accompanying documents on the extension of:

"1. A Yen Loan up to the amount of approximately USD 52,600,000 for the implementation of the National Road No.5 Improvement Project (Prek Kdam-Thlea Ma'am Section) (IV); and

2. Grant Aid up to the amount of approximately USD 2,670,000 for the implementation of the Project on Human Resource Development Scholarship," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (May 22).

The provision of the above said official development assistance will contribute to the constant socio-economic development efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia and further consolidation of the outstanding relations and thriving across the-board cooperation between both nations.
