Sihanoukville (FN), May 22 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that China never orders him to do anything and China's policy does not block or label any country as its enemy, speaking at an inauguration for the official use of the tire factory, held on Monday morning (May 22) in Sihanoukville province.

"Wang Wentian (Chinese ambassador to Cambodia) never tells Cambodia not to do this or that. Cambodia has never received any order from the Chinese side. Even Xi Jinping (Chinese president), he never tells us not to have diplomatic relations with this country or that country," the premier underscored.

On that occasion, Samdech pointed out that Cambodia has an independent foreign policy, while some countries claimed that Cambodia is a Chinese puppet or a Vietnamese puppet.

Regarding this baseless accusation, premier Hun Sen reiterated that Cambodia practices independent foreign policy in accordance to the law.
