Phnom Penh (FN), May 7 – At the invitation of Indonesian president Joko Widodo, this year's rotating chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and his spouse Bun Rany Hun Sen will lead a high delegation of Cambodia to attend the 42nd ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings to be held on the theme of "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth" on 10-11 May 2023 in Labuan Bajo, the Republic of Indonesia.

"The ASEAN leaders will deliberate ways and means to sustain the momentum of the ASEAN Community-building, advance the ASEAN's sustainable development agenda to realize an inclusive, participatory, and collaborative Community, and accelerate the development of the ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision to make the ASEAN a future-oriented Community for a peaceful, stable, secure, prosperous and resilient region," according to the press release seen by Fresh News on Sunday (May 7).
