Sihanoukville (FN), May 1 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen advised national and private television broadcasting stations to participate in live broadcasts and to widely broadcast all competitions in the 2023 SEA Games.

The premier spoke at a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Sihanoukville container terminal, held on Monday (May 1) in Sihanoukville province.

"I want the SEA Games sport event to become a national holiday for Cambodia and a pride for Cambodian citizens […] All TV broadcasting stations must broadcast all the competitions in the games in order to let everyone knows about the SEA Games that Cambodia is hosting," the premier underscored.
