Phnom Penh (FN), Apr. 8 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen said that one can not underestimate the role of religion when running a country.
Speaking during a meeting with Buddhist priests on Saturday morning (Apr 8) at Diamond Island, the premier said that human resources with knowledge in Buddhism and other religions have all contributed to the development of society.
On that occasion, Samdech emphasized that the nation also benefits from Buddhism or other religions. Since all religions, including Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and others educate people to do good deeds, it can help maintain social order.
