Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 28 – The Memorandum of Understanding between the Angkor Social Innovation Park (ASIP), Charles Sturt University - Alumni Cambodia Association, CAMNICA, Revlon and Kino Cambodia was signed in Phnom Penh on Monday to promote innovative and resilient enterprises and societies in Cambodia, strengthen multi-stakeholder dialogue and partnership, and capacity on social innovation and entrepreneurship.

The ceremony is honored and joined by Khieu Mealy, advisor of ASIP and senior partner of Sok Siphana & Associates, Hang Chuon Narita, vice president of Charles Sturt University - Alumni Cambodia Association, Pheary Chan, founder of REVLON Cambodia, and chairwomen of Kino Cambodia, and Leng Somaly, president of CAMNICA.

Khieu Mealy underlined the importance of collaboration as it leads to enhanced productivity and outcomes as well as the measurable effectiveness of organizations. This partnership will serve as a platform for entrepreneurs and young leaders to learn and gain experiences and skills relating social innovation in order to better prepare themselves in the digital age.

Hang Narita shared her optimism that the cooperation will further empower women's entrepreneurship and support the youth to realize their potentials and dreams to contribute to the development of their communities. Some of the future activities include building schools, toilets as well as providing national and international scholarships to students to pursue higher education. She strongly believes that this collaboration enables all partners to achieve more outcomes and deliver more impacts.

Pheary Chan and Leng Somaly underlined the importance of motivation in driving youth's willingness to learn and adapt to innovative ideas and practices. They said that one of the missions of this cooperation is to connect with other communities and encourage youth to believe in themselves and strengthen women's entrepreneurship to align with digitalization and evolution of the digital age.
