Phnom Penh (FN), Mar. 27 – Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen and visiting Malaysian prime minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the fight against transnational crime, speaking during a bilateral meeting on Monday (Mar. 27) at the Peace Palace.
"Regarding defense and security, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation between relevant institutions, exchange professional delegations regarding anti-trafficking and human trafficking and money laundering,” said the premier.
He continued, "the two sides also agreed to establish a Memorandum of Understanding between the General Commissariat of the National Police of Cambodia and the Royal Malaysia Police on cooperation in the fight against transnational crime.”
